Cinema, television and industrial imaging | 16 mm and Super 8 cinema, video and industrial sensors; coverage varies

C-mount has a nominal 17.526 mm flange distance. It appears on 16 mm cameras, interchangeable-lens Super 8 cameras and numerous television or industrial cameras. Its thread alone does not establish a recording format. CS-mount shares the thread but uses a shorter register and is not the same installation.
