Miranda SLR bodies combine an external bayonet with a separate internal screw attachment. Auto EC lenses use the bayonet; the RE-II manual describes their locking rotation and lens release. Metering and diaphragm couplings vary between body and lens generations, so a common mount designation is not a guarantee of every automatic function.
