Focus Mechanism

Infinity focus only. The patent focuses by moving G3 (L7 alone) toward the image at every zoom position (¶0091) but prints no close-focus spacings, so no focus travel is modeled and both focus endpoints repeat the infinity spacings. Panasonic's 0.2 m (wide) to 0.3 m (tele) minimum focus distance is not modeled. The wide, middle and tele spacings are printed; the zoom positions between them are interpolated, not the factory cam.
