The nominal 8.8 × 6.6 mm frame has an 11 mm diagonal. The Fujifilm X10 and Olympus E-10/E-20 use this sensor class. Historically the designation also described pickup tubes; the active image area is much smaller than two thirds of an inch measured diagonally. A common optical class does not imply interchangeable camera mounts.
